Corix Partners is active at a number of levels in the wider cyber security community in the UK and abroad. This is a summary of the activities which we have undertaken during April and May 2016.
Corix Partners attended the Personal Data & Trust Network, held at the Digital Catapult Centre, Euston Road, London on 16th March 2016.
This event brought together businesses, researchers and public services together to explore the opportunities and challenges that we all face today in maintaining cyber security. It was an excellent opportunity to see what the cyber security researchers are doing and explore potential commercial uses.

Corix Partners were delighted to attend the meeting of the London cluster of the UK Cyber Security Forum on 4th May 2016.
This is part of our long-standing association with the UK Cyber Security Forum, which was founded in April 2014 and represents small companies actively working in cyber security across the UK.
JC Gaillard, MD & Founder, Corix Partners, – presented on “Cybersecurity and Entreprise Culture” at the formal launch of the “Cyber Security” thematic group of the TelecomParisTech alumni association on 24th May 2016 at TelecomParisTech, 46 rue Barrault, Paris.
The group aims at building concrete activities amongst alumni communities, drawing on the experience of the alumni themselves and the research capacity of the school.
The launch event featured keynote speeches from Guillaume Poupard, Director General, ANSSI (Agence Nationale de la Securite des Systemes d’Information), and Yves Poilane, Director, TelecomParisTech

Corix Partners were pleased to attend the launch of the HarveyNash – KPMG CIO Survey 2016, titled The Creative CIO, at the Ham Yard Hotel, London on 26th May 2016.
A brief survey of the key findings in the survey was presented and was followed by a lively panel discussion. The panel compressed of Julia Warrack (Managing Director Technology, JP Morgan), Simon Schofield (Head of Security & Compliance, Adapt), John Seglias (Group CTO, DEFRA) and Edd Read (Co-Founder & CTO, Graze.com).
Both the report and the panel discussion highlighted growing concerns from CIOs around cyber security and data breaches.
